From Visual Designer to Product & UIUX Designer

Started working as a Graphic Designer with 7 wonderful years of experience in the retail industry. My first few years of working was not easy. Literally blood, sweat and tears became my foundation to overcome the challenges I’ve encountered.

Don’t get me wrong. I love and still love graphic design. But I thought to myself that maybe it’s time to learn another set of skills and improve. I've then got interested and developed a strong passion for UI/UX design and its impacts on users leading me to study best practices in user research, information architecture, competitive analysis, user flow, and user interviews. I've also gained experience with industry tools like Jira for project management, Figma and Adobe XD for design including their key features such as Auto Layout and prototyping along with learning basic programming in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.

I've then decided to became a Product/UIUX Designer since then. Worked with mid-sized to large agencies across the US, Australia, and Canada designing for everything from SaaS platforms to B2B/B2C products in e-commerce, e-learning, healthcare, and even NFT and crypto-based games.

I also dabble in front-end code (HTML, CSS, Tailwind, Bootstrap, a bit of JavaScript), which helps me speak dev and understand what’s realistic when building out ideas. I love creating clean, intuitive interfaces that make people’s lives easier, and I’m always up for a challenge that blends creativity with problem-solving.
